One day, when I perfect these forums and start working on a 'distributable' version- complete with easily customisable forum/topic pages, themes, support functionality, etc. etc. Have some more ideas I'd like to add too, like if you add a reply 2 minutes after one of your own posts it just tacks it onto the end of the last one, and maybe getting threaded topics working.

Actually, been thinking more about the future in general and have some ideas. I figure a Wikipedia-style website, where people can contribute/edit articles at will, would work quite nicely. You could do away with editing forums, really. And similarly for maps...

As well, for user levels, perhaps once we get high enough, we dont need to have our news accepted before it gets posted. I mean, after 2 years, I wouldnt be posting crap on there. Just a thought [addsig]

I think he means, when you go in someones profile, there is links to see his maps, his tuts, his posts, but the comments dosent have a link. [addsig]

see where i have 63 comments, i can't remember doing all of them, i would like to be able to go back and read them, plus it would be sorta cool to be able to read others too.

being away often, i miss some things, this might help fill in the blanks.

but i understand if its a bandwidth issue, don't do it if its any trouble

IMO, some people might be swayed in advance when the poster is known. some for good, others for ill, but not knowing the origin of the poll, might render more reliable figures.

Sniff sniff.. That hurt. It took me a whole 2 minutes to think of that methode used in the tut. But the main reason I made it a tutorial, is because it trully solved a problem in my map, and I felt other mappers might like the idea. Why remake the map to fit the player's specs? [addsig]

when you click this, it tells you whom is here, it also shows you what they are looking/reading at..

you have an option of clicking on the link, of what they are viewing, but it takes you to page #1, it would be nice if it took you to the last page, thats where the relevant/current info is..

I like that point. Also, on another note, Lep, everytime I want to send you a PM and your not online, I have to go into your profile. In Snarkpit Version 3, you had the PM link next to the member names in the member list. Can we have that back?

Oh, and having front page and profile news would be great too.
