Well this is the hopeful MSN picture of me tonight, dressed as Spike (James Marsters) from the old TV Series Buffy The Vampire Slayer. I'm British and dressing up, so re-do the topic title. Some of us celebrate Halloween

<----- be afraid!

I'm glad people are making the effort. Northern Ireland has always celebrated halloween, and I think its catching on over in England too.

Halloween is boring. Its only fun when you get the chance to give kids little rat poison caramel candies.

Not a single kid has been here yet asking for candy... what has happened to the swedish kids...

I guess people over here don't take Halloween very seriously. It seems as if this day is of greater importance in the US and other countries.

Yes because as we all know Halloween brings a much greater significance in people's lives than the day of America's founding.

well, i realize that its not quite as exciting as the spanish inquisition was, but the salem witch trials are a part of the history you mention.. i personally am not to thrilled with that portion of american history, but i suppose all our countries have their black sheep events

That's not what he said at all... He was merely saying that other countries don't seem to care about Halloween, whereas Americans do... Not that Halloween held greater importance over other American hollidays. [addsig]
