As for the spolier, the G-Man CAN'T be Gordon because, as you probably recall, the Gman kills Gordon off if he refuses to join, thus creating a temporal paradox. If Past-Gordon dies, then the G-man never existed thus Gordon was never killed etc.

IN FRONT OF A COMPUTER WITHOUT STEAM, in a country where HL2 doesn't exist. The only things that *exists* here are Q3, DiabloII and Counter-strike. No editing community, no half-life community, not even a proper CS community; and i ain't got enough time to scout the net for (p)reviews! I only feed on the info the mighty gods that own steam throw me. And i jump like a maniac each time i see something shiny.

Um, somethingawful.com don't do serious reviews. I know the ending, and that is NOT it.


Thank God for that! I once (accidentally) visited an HL2 site where the public were for some bizarre reason allowed to post un-moderated news with no filtering system. The top headline was that very spoiler, although I didn't realise it wasn't true. Suffice to say I was in a VERY bad mood after that...

Heh, yesterday I actually heard an advertisement on the radio, telling me HL2 was only two days away from it's release...

Nice to hear those things on the radio... sounds like good music in the ears to me...

That's great! I'm considering buying the Bronze Package online in advance , but, hell, 49 bucks (http://www.steampowered.com/)? IMAO, it's HL2! Worth every dollar!
