OK, i have a legit copy of HL2, where did they stash the editor?

do you install it separately, or have to download it online someplace?

so i download the source, and its hammer then?

ok.. cool, but why not include it with the disks.. many on 56k are not going to want a big download... assuming the sdk is big..

Because it prolly wasn't finished for the public when those discs were manufactured ... dunno.

there is a link, in the steam screen, says SDK.. i clicked it, its now downloading something.. i will know soonish i suppose..

Lol, steam is a piece of sh*t from time to time, but downloading viruses with it, I doubt that.

Although ... if some smarty-pants-hacker can ever get access to the update servers and replace the updates with some malicious trojan ... go figure.
