? quoting Crono
It's not bad because it goes with the seasons. Usually those several month periods are durring late fall and Winter.

At least someone understands what I was saying

i understood perfectly, what you failed to understand was, my definition not only took your words into account, but took them to the next step, which was why it happens the way it happens.

you are still stuck with your words as if they were enough to explain everything. they were not.

funny how you can give a 6 page recitation on browsers and motherboards yet simplify rain to one paragraph

bottomline, i at least know why it rains in oregon, and i feel deeply for you.. still you chose to live there so you cannot bitch to much. its a choice, not something forced upon you

I'm not bitching. I've never written 6 pages on anything computer related. I didn't simplify why it rains here because I never intended to explain the very concept of the most common type of rain. I never even attempted to create a "definition".

So, why are you dragging this out? I'm not arguing with why it rains here vs in florida. I spoke of the amount and the way it rains in florida is different then here ... END OF CONVERSATION. There's no point going, "But I took what you said and molded it with something not really related to what you were specifically talking about".

By the way, I was born here and there hasn't been a very ubundant about of jobs in the last four years, so technically I am being forced to live here. Although, I like Oregon and it's weather, I mean, I grew up here. Rain doesn't phase me. [addsig]

Wow.

I lived in Overland Park (a suburb of KC about 20 minutes out) for about 8 years of my life, and I have to say it was a pretty cool place. It's not all flat and boring and wheat. It's what you make of it.

Anyway, I am enjoying Fayetteville Arkansas very much and it's a great college town, but I still get homesick every time I go back.

Rain is s**t, however, SNOW is even worse. A few days ago it started to snow here. Now it's like -10*C and I'm freezing my a** off. Snow everywhere, it's like being in hell. And dark. Perhaps 7h of light a day still decreasing. God, I wish I lived somewhere else.
