i always called it "Turkey Day" .. "Thanksgiving" has to much religious connotations IMO.. if nothing else it sounds biblish.
anywho's, i always thought that the holiday situation in the states were a bit off.. turkey day and xmas are to close, and have essentially the same meal plans for dinners.. why not move turkey day to june?
i don't drink often, and i don't usually do it with kinfolk around, as most of my wifes side is red necks and tempers usually increase with the level of consumption.
i am sure about *looks at watch* now.. guests will begin to arrive at most of the american homes, so post counts may drop off a bit ![]()
