Spartan, most developers and directors use cats as a "metaphor" of sorts. Usually, if a normal cat is in anime, the director doesn't have to take care of it (The cat is always fine, unless it's a realistic anime). They use this as a metaphor for human characters, in the case of Ball's anime character, he's suppose to be incredibly resilient. By the way I hate that show probably because I hated Ranma. [addsig]
