My friend and I did HL2DM with the console...it's really, really buggered up. You get greyed out Gordon's and if you spawn the weapons with impulse 101 only sometimes do the weapons hurt each other, except for the rocket which generally will kill the other player if you hit the ground under them. As well, the players don't have a collision hull for each other so you can walk through and not be able to shoot them either (but this was variable, sometimes it was true, sometimes not.) Anyway, it was good for a laugh.

Hey, Yeah I have tried the Console method. It's definitely buggered. I was just hoping for a REAL method like from the menu. Anyway, it seems that no one really wants to talk about it. All they want to talk about is n00bs and l00ps. Anyway, VASH was quite rude and I didn't really appreciate his/her attempts at humor. VASH is the shortened for of "VAginal raSH." Anyway, Thanks for a serious, non-flame answer. You know you can play HLDM over the net as long as you have the IP addresses. I wonder if it has the Autodownload feature for maps even in this rudimentary stage.
