got into a few games, lag is really bad when alotta peeps join. everyones ping goes to 900's. it was fun with 4 or 5 peeps... just kinks and overload I'm sure...

only 2 maps

gravity gun is fun as sh*t, evryone tryin to use it... lol

all player models that were in game are choosable.. NO GORDAN MODEL!

you spawn with multiple weps and gravity gun...

quick screenie... i was so excited i kept forgetting to take a screenshot

Yea, I have fiber optic lines and put up a server around 10:00PM PST (all because I couldnt even get on any servers cuz it was so full) and it filled up full to 14 people within 30 seconds. Its been about an hour and a half and still if anyone leaves someone is in the next second. I was thinking of making a hl2 dm map real quick while the server was on and dropping it in the maps folder to put it in the rotation, that would have been crazy. It hurts seein all these people on my server talkin about how cool it is, and I havent even got to play myself:(

Not working for me, but I don't think its a server thing. I can log into steam fine, and I downloaded the update fine, but when launching the game nothing happens. [addsig]

i feel your pain. i tried opening hl2dm from its folder and it gave me an error stating gameinfo.txt was not found. i put gameinfo.txt where it belonged and then it gave me an error that said steam.dll could not be opened followed by one saying filesystem_steam.dll could not be found then it said reinstalling the application may fix it, so i reinstalled steam, to no avail of course. now im getting an error message stating simply: "you suck, steam hates you. go outside for once and never touch your computer again because you are too stupid to use it. you suck at life." actually, i made that up to lighten this grave situation. i am re-installing half-life 2 right now... the "time left" was going up for a while, which almost brought me to tears, now its at about 51:30 and going down fairly fast. i think i may have made a boo-boo in not uninstalling steam before reinstalling it, because i dont think it did anything, and if i had done that i think it may have fixed it. oh well, the timer has gone down 6 minutes in 2 so i think its not going to be too much longer.

Yeah I keep getting nothing as well, its finished updating, it does the CD check but nothing happens after that.

Also Hammer keeps giving me a "gameinfo.txt is an invalid format" error, and wont let me past the configuration dialogue. anyone else getting that?

*Edit* I did download the SDK Update.
