Birthdays are great, I try to have one at LEAST once a year (I have been known to fake birthdays in pubs for free drinks).

Christopher Walken fakes birthdays for birthday cakes, only problem's when he pulls it on the same person twice in the same year!

Nothing special that I can think of. Smoking and drinking isn't allowed until 18, the same goes with driver license, watching porn and voting. So, nothing more for me to do than before... legally . The only think I'm really looking forward to is voting. I will have to wait more than just a year to do that though, the next election is in september 2005, and by then I'm still 17 , so I'll have to wait another 4 year period until the next one... well, I guess I can live with that.
