Most of ya out there probably already know about the Nintendo DS, with the two panel display and touch screen. If you do, you probably know that with the touch screen, Nintendo tried porting Metroid Prime to the DS, controlled by the touch screen. I believe that the touch screen is a revolution to the hand held industry, excluding pda's and portable pc's of coarse. There may be loads of old pc games eing portd to the DS from years past that may utilize the touch screen configuration as a primitive mouse set up. Plus, with the new onboard wireless set up, who knows how many people could join in on wireless games. The DS is surely going to blow the N-Gage, portable gaming phone, out of the water.
I ask:
Would you like to see the Half-Life 1 engine on the new Nintendo DS?
When I say engine, I'm not referring to the single player game, I'm talking about seperate cartridges that each have the engine and the mod in one.
This came to my mind, and I thought, "Wouldn't it be great if could play TFC any where, rather than just at my computer?" I say if so, port a current mod that has dozens of maps, grab the best, shrink the size to fit many on the thing. I don't know about you, but evan though it could suck, the HL1 engine on the "NinDS" would be a great keepsake for Half-Life fans out there.
