snarkmarks are explained on the initial news post i think... something to do with general l337ness gained from posting/mapping/etc

Orph was bitching about how post count seemed to matter a lot to some, so I figured these crazy SnarkMarks would be a better indicator of l337ness. They're a bit 'out of the way' as they're still going through a trial period though...

yeah.. post counts matter.. they indicate whom is the elite among*more thwacks* "cough" snarkmarks are very nice and a smashing indicator of site usefulness..

i looked up the word "deprecating" and must confess i am still confused, but thats not important really..

what is important is, i do feel strongly that we need some sort of a system to honor our more dedicated members, what bothers me is when people use it as a tool to win an argument, as if you were wrong, simply because you are so dedicated...

i don't really mind being on a list of this sort, but i feel uncomfortable if i am at the top of any of them.. i don't like people using things against me that i have little or no control over..

anyways, i would greatly appreciate it if you guys could post enuff to keep me out of first place, and score me poorly enuff on the rating system to prevent it being used as well
