Crap, I already missed the boat. I should have released a yakbox map to get my name out there so that people would pay attention to my better maps.

The sad thing is that people are actively encouraging these people to make and release these maps, and if I were to go to a general HL2 site's forums and call them on their crappy work I'd probably get banned...

Sh*t maps like these ought to be deleted asap and the morons who made them and took the moronic decision of publishing them should be skinned alive, tar and feathered and then cremated.

Rabid, perhaps you should mail Autolycus from the VERC about this? It's better to know for sure that your map can or can't enter the contest than to find out later...

How about a speed contest ? Tweak your comps to the max and 'map' a killbox as fast as you can ! Then, release it in the HL2 mappack ! woojay ! suckage ahoy !

that would be evil, i think the killboxes we produce would be of such a high quality that they would come in a high quality killbox map pack, and then we make extra rooms and all funky stuff etc.

Most of these maps are simply stunning! Just by looking at them you can see how much time and effort was put into them. It must've been real hard for all those mappers to pull off such great things. Someday, I will become like them.

Or.. not. Seriously, what's up with this? Some tard finds out how the hollow tool works and start releasing maps. The worst thing is that people actually play it and put them in mappacks. Way to go, that way you'll make sure everyone plays that horrible map. I mean, can't the mappers themselves see what kind of horrible thing they've created? Do they really think that people are interested in box maps? Jesus. Most maps don't even have lighting. They're just fullbright. Somebody tell those pricks to stop releasing their 30-minute maps. Also, tell those tards at HL2 Files to stop packing it.

I know that not all maps are as horrible as some of them are, like dm_bounce for example. So excuse me if I have insulted it. Heh..
