Did you check for scorching yet?

Actually, this is exactly what the D Bracket is for.

It will "tell" you if the CPU, ram, BIOS, Chipset, or anything fairly vital is hanging or acting improperly. You just have to read the motherboard manual to interpret the LEDs.

have you checked that your comps power supply is great enough to withstand the processor,motherboard, ram,cd drive etc it could be power related. If your psu is big enough i dunno whats up.
