Almost everyone agrees that Half-Life 2 is a great looking game. But in addition to the visuals, the incorporation of the physics system into gameplay is revolutionary.

Submit a screenshot that represents the best of Half-Life 2. What makes it stand out compared to the various other FPS games (i.e. Doom 3, Far Cry, Halo 2)?

Here is one that shows off the new water, the physics system, the cool hover craft, and of course, the Half-Life logo.

Are you sure Gordon is just picking up the suit (and not some melons at the same time)?

And the best part is that Alyx seems to be enjoying it.

We? Who is this We, you're talking about? And then, realize that there are those who never had any standards to lower in the first place.

Here's my contribution:
A Strider, charging up it's mega-death-ray cannon, about to turn me into a charred corpse and give me some unneccesary ventilation. I probably should have ran away. I just love the effect it has; that there's so much power in this blast that it's actually bending reality. It's quite possibly the most fearsome charge-up sequence ever. Though in retrospect, I was probably too far away for this picture. Damnit!

I don't think it's as bad as you're making it out to be. It's only a certain few who degrade their posts into "ROFL" or some other lousy acronym. For the most part, we're still the same, good ol' Snarkpit, right? Except Orph isn't around as much. And Gollum seems to have stopped visiting completely. Hmm, I wonder why...

Do we get to have titles? I want to be the Philosopher Royal, so I can make all sorts of grand claims without any evidence. Gwil can be Ganja Gandhi, Jeff can be The Scientist, and Orph can be the Grand Old Man Who Lives Up the Tree.
