I agree with Vash on this. Also submitting box, fy, and awps maps is getting very annoying. Lets not forget how people keep creating help editing threads in the General Banter forum. [addsig]

yup this seriously has to stop with the lame maps, maybe on the map submission page it sould say "only submit maps that you have spent more than an hour on"

AWPS are the high calibur sniper rifles that only take one hit to kill you, as you can guess it is a level with nothing but that weapon, as for "fy" I have no F***ing clue and I dont really care to know

fy_ maps are CS's veresion of team deathmatch --- the only fy_map that exists, is fy_iceworld. I'm working on an fy_ map, but its like this...

fy_iceworld fy_district

It deffinetlly took more than one hour, that's for sure.

fy maps make me laugh. Theres more than just iceworld. The funny thing is the fy part- its got something to do with something completely random, I can't really remember what tbh, but I did speak to the maker- he makes good maps too. [addsig]

The rest of his maps are good and the cartoons are funny. I just wish he didn't create fy_iceworld. Just about every noob now releases crap like fy_brickworld, fy_barnworld, fy_iceworld2k5. That s**t gets annoying when you see fifty servers running maps like that. [addsig]

Yeah the cartoons are funny and the other maps are very good looking. I would only mark him down because his website links don't work in firefox.

Every single fy_ map I've seen is s__t. Not only do they feature amazingly boring and unimaginative design, but they're also for the wrong game entirely. If people want to make c__ppy team deathmatch maps, they should at least have the decency to do it for Quake or DMC or something that's meant for deathmatch.

Deathmatch maps don't work in CS. Not even c__p deathmatch maps. Whoever thought they did should be taken out and shot. [addsig]

Dockrock is infamous for arrogance when it comes to showing his maps to the community. They are widely played, and mostly quite fun, but he therefore generally feels that he doesn't need our feedback. There was a big multi-thread flame war long ago between him and Orph (mostly) over this and other matters. I don't really remember all that clearly. The upshot was that he realized he shouldn't post maps if he didn't want our criticism.
