Spartan, I would never do anything that insensitive. If there is even a possibility of this being true the last thing a parent needs is to get a phone call asking if thier dead son is there because "I just noticed it said he was dead on the internet and stuff."
BUT whoever posted on tefp.net was sure very quick to post the "fact" on the site. If indeed it was a brother or relative, they weren't grieving too much to have updated it just ONE day after thier brother's death. I know ppl greive in different ways, but posting it on the internet is not really a conventional approach. I mean, there are LOTS of other tihngs to take care of after a death besides letting all his little internet pals know about it.
