i had an dream (litterally) of a mod where u were an animal. you could be a bird or a dog or a cat or a squirrel and they all had different abilites & objectives. And each species objectives would conflict with eachother to create a web of troubles. species would work together. but didnt have to and could pursue just killing things or having fun. this was only a dream i had last night but it was fun ( in the dream) btw it took place in the sim ant backyard for snes pm me if you find this interesting = D any downsides/upsides would be appreciated

Sorry =( didnt want to post it as a whole new thing but the other one was dead and this is a fun topic = D less a new mod in the making

in the mod the squirrels could jump from tree to tree and run really fast. they had multiple attacks that only did 1 damage *these guys are objective based* gathering nuts or something. The cats could climb trees but not as fast as the squirrels and could not jump from tree to tree & they could scratch. dogs were the biggest and did the most damage. pretty fast but could not climb trees. birds got points from stealing all teams objectives but were relativly weak attackers and health (nuts:squirrels fish:cats meat:dogs) [addsig]

its because i have wierd dreams ;D i have great ideas... just not the skills to become some great carpenter / modder / artist / umm yeah i think thats it

Spawning zones for animals

Dog = dog house

Cat = trash can

Squirrel = tree hole / squirrel nest

bird / eggs from a bird nest "on a building" or somewhere away from other animals

Post for any ideas / coments / critiques to make gameplay / looks better i might try to gather some people to make this mod. Also it does not have a name yet [addsig]

If this was implimented well this mod would incredibly fun. But honestly I think it would only hold water as a novelty. That is, of course, unless you have really well worked out dynamics.

if this all works out i have a lot of experience with balance in games "as i have been gm of dnd for quite some while = P" the most important thing is to listen to public imput which is what im doing here, all off of some dream. Please imput public imput and i guess i will create this mod . I do need some experienced / semi experienced modders , some moddelers & mappers . even though i can map myself its kinda useful to have variety. = D all who are ready pm me / post here [addsig]

I like the idea really. Would look cool between all the other epic space/terrorism combat mods in the making for HL2.

Also just plain ideas on what kind of dog / bird / squirrel / cat they should be! = P + any other ideas / critiques you want

This is a great idea but youll need a very good coder to get things right...

I do modeling, HTMLing and mapping and Id be glad to join your mod but at the moment Im pretty busy with life and other mods.

alright im back.. but one problem ... my desktop = google and there is no properties...but im working on it

i somehow got a mAJOR virus while i was away.....
im using http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp
it usually works .... on my brothers computer it nearly took over it installed programs & tried to restart .... luckilly that computer sucks so bad that it failed to run the requested action and the virus was halted in its tracks
ive used 3 different virus scanners none have worked on cleaning 16 viruses had been dectected... = / seems to be trojans Do not use internet explorer. he was just google searching when this happpened " a pop up ad came up and he closed it... then his desktop turned into a webpage.... then i came home thought my bro did it for a joke or somthing and screwed around with it... i made the bground into google.. amazingly this nearly fixed the virus on my computer....


The virus creates a background of a webpage. this webpage uploads immense amounts of trojans and spyware. The spyware is easy to remove. the trojans are not. The quicker you move the better it helps . [addsig]
