It's a toss-up between Nova Prospekt and the Citadel. I'll say Nova Prospekt, because it was longer and had more stuff to do. And the atmosphere. I love the assault on the prison, when you're running around outside. Very hectic.

Coast levels for me, you had a lot more control over what you did, even though you were basically following a road. The crane part was brilliant I also liked the little stops and houses with stuff to do. You're given countless ways to assault combine points and overall it's just fun, it's what a game should be.

The last levels come close to being my favourite but they're kinda repetitive. They win on 'awe factor' though

City17. I still have cavities from all that eye-candy.

Atmosphere? HL2? Nah...

Best and only good bits for me were the boat bits and the citadel (cus of its scale!). Really fantastic stuff in the citadel. The boat bit was great too but it got boring after a while. The rest of the game for me was a classic case of "playing just to get past it" rather than because I enjoyed it- I just wanted to see what happened next.

Its a mix of the nova prospekt and the citadel. The parts inbetween there werent very fun though, 'Follow Freeman' was one of the worst in the game.

The citadel was just amazing for being so complicated and I really got the feeling it was big as hell. I felt I could do anything or go anywhere and though I know the map only stretches as far as I can see, I felt it was a fully functioning building.

My favorite is Ravenholm, just because those fast running zombie things scared the sh*t out of me !

The Citadel really was impressing too ... I thought the ride through it was going to be like the HL1 intro (boring, that is), but it was pure eye-candy.

Nova Prospekt wasn't that special, imho. Just corridors and cells. Although the part where you have to set up those turrets is indeed, pretty funny.

Its a hard decision for me. Ravenholm or the Air-boat levels.

The air-boat levels were pretty boring, but the part with the big magnet was brilliant.

Nova Prospekt had some great gameplay and funny things up on it's sleeves. The turret sections, although being hard at times, were a nice change to the other combat in that level. I also greatly enjoyed the assault on the prison with my ant lion minions...
It also felt like more than a prison, a combine test centre or something like that. I could almost smell that there was more to it than just being a prison.

The citadel, indeed, scored heightest with it's awe factor, but it's combat became a bit repetetive. It was cool nevertheless but a bit too easy and repetetive.

So funny to pick up those people with that blue Gravity Gun.

Just pick up the first dude, blast him away, and all the rest is done for it.

I remember picking the bodies up and trying to paint the floor with as many bloodsplashes possible, by banging them on the ground. Boy, this isn't normal.

And the Antlion level ... I first didnt' hear that you better should not step on the sand. So I kept wondering why there were so many of them. Just ran through that whole level. Boy, that was hard.

I voted for the buggy. I loved the one part in the tunnle where you have to get out and move the cars out of your way. The light, and the sounds of zombies were really great. Then driving down the road, stopping in front of the little red house and peaking into the window to see the dudes peeping.

Or driving down the road just listening to the calm lapping of the sea. Only to get ambushed at the next turn.

I also loved the part in the apartment building when the police come after you. After you run down the hall and escape the first wave of gaurds you take a left down the stairs only too see more stun sticks zap to life. Then after a run across the roof you find yourself inside that building where the police come from all sides and your only hope is to run back the way you came, then... CRASH the stairs cave in and your trapped!

what a rush

I liked the buggy level too, but i'm kinda dissapointed about the fact that we can't drive one of those fetching combine APCs around. [addsig]
