I aint bought any parts to my computer except for a 120GB hard-drive about half a year ago and a DVD-RW a couple of weeks ago. My older brother is a computer genius and he upgrades his computer every now and then with the latest stuff and puts his old gear into this one. Im gonna get it to him asap now and this time Im getting a new graphics card and a new processor.
My current specs include AMD Athlon XP 1800+ ~1,6GHz, 512MB RAM and GeForce3 Ti 200 so I can run Half-Life2 at medium quality.
Im satisfied with that.

Oh and about what you bough Half-dude, that case is such a waste. I dont know much about buying computer parts but if theres one thing I know, I would never spend money on a riced-up case.

Lol my flatmates case isn't made of actual lead lol! It's just so ridiculously heavy and clunky- it's quite funny. Has every PCI slot in use with raid cards and so many HD's and CD drives lol. [addsig]

AMD doesn't even make a processor with rated clock speed of 2.7 GHz except by overclocking, someone somewhere ripped you off... But if you are happy then its all good

Have you thought maybe it's called 2700 or something?

Who knows overall performance may be equal to an Intel 2.7Ghz chip. Not that it really matters anymore.
