On the home front, I plan on losing the 50 lbs. I have gained over the previous 4 years. My new digital camera has really driven home just how fat I have become.

On the Snarkpit front, I plan to give everyone whomever started an argument with me without a resolving it, a second chance. They will begin with a clean slate in 2005. It will be as if they had never done it.

I think both are noble goals, and well within my influences to success

hmm, either "resolutions" have gone to the wayside, or something.

i figured at the very least, some wise ass would have spouted some nonsense about how magnanimous mine were.

heh

I didn't set any goals up as I wouldn't achieve them. If there's something that I really want to do or achieve, I guess I'll do that anyway. Or fail trying.

Good luck with your resolutions though

My friend lost 50lbs...it took him about 6 months. But he felt a lot better after doing it. He just kept a picture up of what he looked like and how he didn't want that unhealthiness etc. So he just ate a little less each meal and didn't have anything junky.

people whom meet me the first time always say, "but you aren't that big"

me? i feel fat, i was about 150 lbs. for most all of my adult life. 8 years ago, i quit smoking, i just knew i would blimp out.. But i was wrong, i stayed 150. 5 years ago, I began delivering these busses. i swelled to my present 200 lbs.

if you looked at my picture with tracer in my "travels thread" you might notice a slight weight issue

anywho's, i hope to buff back to my former 150 and toned

I plan on losing the 40lbs i gained after i graduated 2 years ago. Also, I am going to kill my ex GF and that bitch from work that filed a restraining order against me.

[edit] I was not serious about the killing stuff, just the weight loss.

I plan on trying to lose 2 stone or more so I can get rid of my beer belly I dont eat much I actually dont eat enough so thats kinda my problem cos my body goes in to sratvation and stores all the fat cos it dont know when its next meal will be but I do walk to college about 3 times a week and its a 30 mins walk each way If I go into town I walk there (its the same distance to the town center as it is to college cos college is just down the road from the center of town)

But as for resolutions go i made a mellenium resolution to never make a new year resolution again and its the only one I have ever stuck to [addsig]

You gained 40 kilobytes?!

My resolution is to continue becoming more independent and more confident, as most of my friends would tell you that i'm far too reserved and shy. I don't want to be independant to the point of arrogance, just enough to keep me feeling good about myself, as i've done the whole 'depressed' phase and don't want to go down that road again.

I've a decent job now, and just put an offer in on a house so it finally seems like things are falling into place - would be nice to keep things going that way

And Orph, you in that photo you look exactly like an old family friend, its really uncanny! I'll have to see if I can find a photo.

I've many new year's resolutions, although I've no need to tell you most of them

Primarily for me, its weightloss though. I dont know how much in lb's, but I am ~ 17 stone. Which, is not good. I will loose 5 stone. 12 is a nice number, that's my first target. Want to loose as much as possible by the end of august where I'll be carting off to univercity. [addsig]

My resolutions will be to (A) try to get along with people better, and (B) try to map about x3 faster than I am... I've been working half a year on classic! [addsig]

did you mean faster? as in completing maps sooner? i take about 6 weeks on average, and i assume most others do too (the ones whom make a semblance of quality) how much faster than that do you want?

work on quality, not speed.. no one is racing you after all

I know... good point. But it drives me mad that I've been on the same map for half a year!
