I just got a popup from casalemedia and the only site i was visiting was this one? Have we added popups to the site? anyone else get them? ALSO I know all about spyware, I battle that s**te for a living. I have no adware or spyware on my system. [addsig]

You shouldn't have done, no pop ups for me. You using Internet Explorer? Sounds suspiciously like you've been hijacked with something.

I get no pop up's on any pages, in both Firefox and IE.

you can get a popup with nothing to do with snarkpit, if you have some random spyware running.

XP blocks most all popups now, so i am assuming that you either have not updated or you do not use XP.

snarkpit has not caused a popup in a long time. seek out the cause elsewhere.

If you don't have it already, grab the Ad-Aware freeware from http://www.lavasoft.de/, do a web-update, and scan your computer. It picks up on spyware and adware and other malicious non-virus programs and will clear your system of them. Best part is, it's free.

Chances are you know about this, but just in case...

The GUI for Linux (the variants) are pretty much like Windows. And *gasp* windows has a shell too.

There are still things that IE can do that FireFox can't. I try to use FF as much as possible, but completely converting is just as stupid as sticking 100% to any browser.

It was NOT spyware! I refuse to believe that I had spyware. AdAware didnt find it, and SpyBot didn't find it.

Lol, actually it was VERY odd. I was checking for ST3AM cracks (on shady sites) on my OTHER computer. so if ANYTHING, that one should have adware... But i have not gotten another popup since then. I dunno what the deal was.
