I've never seen the point in loads of cymbals, I rarely hear a huge variation at work apart from the crash, ride, splash, hi hat and china. Apart from that I don't see the point in getting more.

There the ones i got i just got anouther crash so i dont have to move as far from my floortom and ride to get to it especially on fast songs.

Bah. There's a huge range of tones and sounds available, even within the same generic categories you just named.
16" crash is totally different than an 18", 20" crash ride is completely different than a 20" ping ride, etc. etc. Greatest disservice you can do is consider it just a clangy piece of metal.
