How does one go about this? It's usually switched on by default I think, but my latest install for the new PC doesn't seem to support it. How do you enable it again? This Unknown Artist - Track 1 gets old after a while!

Yer Orph, I thought so - I tried flipping my connection to "modem" which it technically is (dial up broadband) but it doesnt seem to make a difference.

It's like it didnt come installed or something, but I downloaded the standard version from winamp.com

No idea tbh - might just reinstall to fix it, not like it's a big program

Hm, can't seem to find it either. Using the latest Winamp. Maybe it's a plug-in or something you have to download.

wait, I got it.

Go to preferences, select plugins, input

Then there's a plugin listed as "Nullsoft CD LineIn/Plugin CDDB", select it, then hit the configure button. A window will pop up where you can enable CDDB.
