google is your friend.
but remember, you get what you pay for, free, isn't free of hassles sometimes.
sometimes (as with my ISP) you get free space with your internet. ask your ISP, i got 750 megs with my DSL.

remember, lots of sites won't even LET you host anything but images and .html
My s**tty host doesnt accept exe, zip, rar, mp3, vmf or ANYTHING for that matter. Also lots of "free" hosts will banner your site up for you nice and pretty.

They do not allow direct links to .zip files, so create a HTML document containing a link to your zip.
Linking to the HTML file works fine.

Would you be able to accommodate my file too? I have a map that's almost complete but nowhere to upload.
I greatly appreciate your generosity if you grant me the space. The zipped .bsp is around 2.8 MB.

You can upload your map there. You'll also get a lot of d/l's from it. Takes a couple of days for them to get it up.

This isnt a great site but i use it a lot and i think the max it can hold is 3MB, but i am not sure.
Not too long ago it was hacked by a chinese guy which was quite funny.

Xcon, these replies will inevitably get lost in the shuffle, if you desire to host, you should either add it to your profile, or your "user" news..

Modest, but functional. Opinions / Suggestions / Bugs please. Hopefully my news will be accepted, and more people will know about it.

Perhaps you could make a list or something so that people could view all uploaded maps. And perhaps a field to enter a nick or something so that people can see who's uploaded what.

Typo? You realize that the moderately-size dm_lockdown is about 11 meg, right?
