Well, I really need help here!!!!!!! My dedicated server on CS 1.6 cannot be seen by anybody. I dont have any firewalls that i know of up. I cant even see it until i type it into my favorites. Please help me on this anybody. Ahhhhh!! ..

First of all, I would like you bitch slap you for briging your CS up in here. Tisk, tisk.

Secondly, steam is pure s**t. If you have a problem with the dedicated server, It most likly wont get fixed (aka patch) for weeks. Or you could go to the site, and make sure you got the STEAM DEDICATED SERVER FILES, and CS CACHE FILES.

Hey now, CS is still cool, so long as people don't h4x or anything.

And I don't really think steam is all that bad, it has some nice features to it. [addsig]

Steam has nice features, yes. But it makes all the games I play laggy... CS or DoD under WON = 40 ping in HLSW and in game. CS or DoD under Steam = 40 ping in Steam, 500 in game. This happens pretty much all the time. I have both on my computer right now, but I vastly prefer WON. I played a few rounds of 1.6, killed 4 guys with 800 ping and retired undefeated. [addsig]
