The last of my games finally arrived a week or so ago, and now its time to share the names of the games.

Legend of Legaia
Legaia 2
Chrono Cross
The Legend of Dragoon
Dragon Warrior VII (7)
Saga Frontier
Saga Frontier 2
Wild Arms
Wild Arms 2
Final Fantasy VIII (8)
Final Fantasy IX (9)
Final Fantasy Chronicles (Final Fantasy VI [6], Chrono Trigger)
Grandia 2
Skies of Arcadia Legends
The legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Presell Gamecube disc)
Shenmue II
Quest 64
Banjo-Kazooie (I think it falls into the genre of Platformer, but it may provided a bit of rpg-esque gameplay perhaps?)
Banjo-Tooie (Read above)

I also got some other games which weren't really RPGs but were bought so me, my dad, and my brother could play togather and were old classics.

Road-Rash: Jailbreak
Namco Museum (Vol. 1 and 3)
Tribes: Ariel Assault
Socom II
Duke Nukem 64
Goldeneye 007
Turok: Dinosaur hunter
Gauntlet Legends
Sou Calibur 2

I also bought Kingdom Hearts (beat it weeks ago; except Sephiroth, which I am currently getting owned by), Halo 2 (traded my Halo 1 copy for it, and I love the MP aspect of the game ) and a DS with Super Mario 64. I also pre-ordered my PSP.

I also traded my RE4 Demo Disc / RE: Outbreak CD for a gameboy advance with: The legend of Zelda (Classic, Four Swords, Link to the past), Final Fantasy: Dawn of Souls, Mortal Kombat, and an action replay with the Four Swords adventure strategy guide. Not too shabby trades

All I can say is run for the woods because after I complete all of these games I will become a gamer-species. My DNA will form to make tiny Tetris strands which will be aided by Pikmin!

Oh, have you joined the PlayStation RPG club? The system that has an innumeral amount of endless rpgs on it that one person could never finish all of them. I know I'll never beat all the rpgs I own ... and that's basically my entire PS1 collection (roughly 32 games). 32 games * 72 hours = 96 days. I don't think I need to spend about 3 months of my life finishing these games.

However, you've got some good games there... Wild Arms 2 is just like 1 except better ... They're both really fun though.

Hurry up on Dragon Warrior, VIII is coming out soon. (For some reason it's cell shaded)
I wish I could find Dragon Warrior/Quest 3-6. I mean, I know they'd all be in Japanese, but, I hear V is the best one.

The Ocarina of Time for GC is nothing special, seriously. If you own the N64 version, it's a good buy, otherwise, it's just going to make your Zelda collection look complete.

I have Grandia 2, Skies of Arcadia, and Shenmu 2 for DC. Personally, from what I've played, I'd say Skies of Arcadia is the best out of the three ... but, that's just me.

Man, I remember playing Quest64 and being so pissed at the end. Fun game though (may not be anymore, I think it's more of a nastalgia thing)

Chrono Cross was a joke. I was and am very pissed off at that game. Apparently, they're making a third game and they said they're making it more like the first one.

The only thing worse then Chrono Cross is Final Fantasy VIII. Play it until disc 2 or the beginning of disc 3 ... there's really no point in going farther.

I've always wanted to play Legaia, let me know how it is.

Did I miss something here? What do you mean the last of your games arrived? Did you just buy all of these, were they in storage, or what?

I've always meant to get around to buying Skies of Arcadia, but DC games are hard to find anywhere other than Ebay, and I can never be bothered going through the hassle of that. Grandia 2 and Shenmue 1/2 are both excellent games, though particularly with Shenmue if it doesn't appeal outright, it probably won't appeal at all.

ReNo, you should check out the Gamestation shop if you have them up in Scotland. They've always got a bunch of cheap DC games kicking around somewhere (usually about ?5ish). [addsig]

? quoting Crono
I've always wanted to play Legaia, let me know how it is.

Legaia was an okay RPG, it had a some what good story (long), but the gameplay would get repeditive, attacking with cominations of up down left right attacks would allow you to make "special" attacks that would take up AP (ability points) ex: left left down (I think) is super punch (you can find all the combos in on the internet at any cheaters web site), but you only have enough space to exicute 3 or 4 moves, later as you level up you get more space to exicute your moves. After the "first" area the game got repeditive, it would get to point to where you set everyone up and you would fall asleep while your character exicuted their moves. The bosses were insanely impossible to beat whenever you come across them. You could also "absorb" some special monsters and that was your maigic portion of the game.

Legaia two was a nice change from the first, but would also get repeditive like the first, the story was short (never finished it), and after you get the pirate girl, there is no point to continue since she is insanely powerful.

Over all ill suggest Legaia 1 (not legaia 2) to play if you've gotton board with all other RPGs. But sure as heck it was better than Quest 64 (although I enjoyed this game also)

Banjo Kazooie was a great game I thought, but I never got around to Banjo Tooie, let Me know how that game turned out.

And I thought buying 9 and a half games at once was overkill.

I remember Legaia 1; my first PS rpg! That game was pretty good, but yeah, the fighting got pretty tedious. I disagree with omegaslayer though, the bosses were a nice challenge and change of pace from the repetitive battles. Ah, I still remember the super-combo-blast things that each character had. It blew my mind!... At the time.

Grandia 2 has, by far, one of the best battle systems ever devised. I would purposely attack monsters just to play another battle. There was just so much depth to it; unfortunately, the enemy AI wouldn't exploit such depth and the sheer majority of battles were far too easy as a result. But anyway, the voice-over quality was great (done by the same people who did MGS I believe). Too bad the story and the "plot-twist" sucked!

Skies of Arcadia was amazing on the Dreamcast. Lots of open-endedness to the gameplay and quests, and the theme (Age of Exploration + giant floating islands) was really fresh and original. I agree this is probably the best RPG on Dreamcast.

My poor beloved Dreamcast!

Cam- Have you tried the secret "super moves" before, those blew my mind, as soon as you learn them they are not recorded. And I agree with you, the bosses were a nice change of pace, but the shere jump of diffuculty going into each boss battle was too great, a good game eases into the boss battles, ex: (I cant remember the name) the boss at the top of the tower that would cast ROT on you is a great example, it took me a week to just barely make it by.
BTW legaia was my first RPG and PS1 game

Does anyone know when The Legend of Dragoon 2 is comming out?

Yes, I <3 Skies of Arcadia. I still have crazy attractions to Record of Lodoss War, if I ever find it that is.

Man ... Legend of Dragoon is sooooo crappy. I mean it looks beautiful (like most SONY made games), but it's just soooooooo boring.
There's a better game made by SONY, it's called ICO, play it.

Oh and a recount: I have 23 PS1 RPGs. Crazy. I'm still looking for others that I wanted to play too (Persona 1 and 2). I think I have somewhere around 45 RPGs on all systems. And that's strict RPG. Not things that have anything remotely like action/adventure game play. Also, no, I'm not proud of this, I'll never finish most of them (and some of them I never want to see again).
