Andrei, they never claimed that HL:Source was a remake or anything - they said on many occasions prior to release that it was just a straight port, and even showed pictures. Its not like they really charged much more for that anyway - it was an extra $10 or something to get HL:S, DoD:S and all of Valve's back catalogue. For people without HL1 its a pretty good way to experience it. [addsig]

They could have atleast bothered to fix the original's bugs, like that radioactive slime bug before "Blast Pit", where the slime is as hard as rock and static. Doubt that's on purpose. [addsig]

About the choppy rocks - Thats what real rocks look like! Real rocks have hard edges and sharp planes and so on. Its only in CG or from a far distance away that you see smoothly curving rocks. [addsig]
