HL1- put it in a Wad file (that is the extent to which I know it)
HL2- options import spray, browse around to find it (a note it will be refitted to either 256x256 or 128x128 or 2x x 2x)

spray's had nothing what so ever to do with wad files (look for a file called "pldecal" i think it was)

there is a tutorial floating around on how to achieve sprays in HL1.

as for HL2, i saw this recently.. here. search for it.

You're both kinda right. It's pldecal.wad but it's neither *not* a wad fall nor a real standard wad either.

for HL1 just make a 32x32 monochrome of whatever you want to be your logo, then invert the colors. Save as a BMP in your spraypaint logos folder. That is all I have ever done, always works, never had to deal with any wads or wallys.

Hl2-Dunno yet, will have to try it...

With wally in HL1 you could do full-color sprays up to like 128x128 i think. Maybe your method works for full color too, I dont know. [addsig]

I have a batch of over 350 B&W HL1 sprays if anyone wants them. Made this years ago before I got into mapping:

I believe this is the answer you are looking for Aniland. I can't see the image so lets assume it is scaled down small enough so it doesnt get squeezed and compressed when you upload it into your spray image.

[EDIT] Sorry forgot about the link for the image you posted. [EDIT]

1st: I'm guessing you want it for HL2DM so heres what you do. You open up Half-Life 2. You select the Options button. Under the Multiplayer tab you click Import Spray as seen below:

2nd: After that you'll get a screen like this:

Browse for your pic on your computer. Then viola, you have a spray ingame for Half-Life 2.
