It's been a while, but I want my buddies and me to start playing some HL1 again with the grapple hook. I can't remember, but is this a mod? If so, where do I get it? How can I get that grapple hook back?

Not sure if it's what you're thinking of, but the Suprise mod had a grappling hook associated with the Crowbar... I think Cold-Ice also had an off-hand one, but I don't know where an install for Cold-Ice would be.

If you want Suprise, you can get a copy of it from my site, as I'm not sure where else you would find it these days. Link is below. Personally, I love this mod. Some people don't like it so much though...

One of the standard hook mods in HL1 is the one made Drunken F00l... you can find it here.
