I just downloaded the dm_island map, but I'm not sure where to put the file or how to 'play' it offline. Any help would be great.

Stick the BSP in your HL2DM map folder, then open up your console (enable in options, then press ~).

Type "sv_lan 1" (This prevents others from joining)
Then, "map xxxx" (whatever map you want)
