Hehe. I sometimes will just stare at it then realize I got on my computer to actually do something.

But if I'm stressed out, and I log in and see her pic, she helps me get unstressed.

I'm sure your right hand plays a role.

I used to be friends with her cousin. I remember when she wasn't special, or even when she just did uncommon Canadian shows. Oh, how times have changed.

I soo need a better theme and background... Whenever I search for backgrounds they always cost money, so I'm stuck with a stretched freebie 800*600 one Where do I get free custom themes etc anyway?

Mine.
Pretty cluttered. The overlayed "logo" bird thingy came from my fan cover - I got bored and traced the outline of the fan cover, scanned it in, and overlayed it. As I said, I was very bored...

I bought a digi cam just after I left snarkpit, I went on a holiday to the outer hebrides over onto stornaway and then 13 miles down to the bottom of the island, it ended up like an sas survival course which was an experience, we stayed in a cottage by the loch which was about half a miles over hillsides from the road (yes carrying shopping half a miles over scottish hills helps you with your fitness somewhat) which also for half of our time spent there had no water, fortunately its so remote we fed pipes into the loch and used buckets in the waterfall for flushing the toilet :S

anyway, I took a fair few photo's out there and used one of them as my wallpaper.

(yes this does mean more textures eventually, but unfortunately my photoshop has snuffed so I cant do much for now)

Loco: Don't you know putting a million shortcuts on the desktop eats a lot of CPU? Such a bad habit : it creates unnecessary lag. [addsig]

Mhh, time for me to clean up some stuff then... I've counted 84 on my desktop... smiley

Anyway, my desktop background comes from Sparth, a concept artist I really admire:

I've had the same backdrop for the last 2 years and I don't think i'll be changing it any time soon. It's nice and simple, which I like - and doesn't send my eyes funny like so many backdrops do

How on earth does having shortcuts on your desktop eat up your CPU? It may take a little while to initally load all of the icons, but outside of that, I can't really see this being true, andrei. [addsig]
