Are you running in Linux or Windows?
If you're in Windows, you can just go into the options, and into the plugins- there is a plugin called "System Tray Icon."
With that enabled, when you click the X, it collapses it down into the taskbar. [addsig]

I find MSN to be annoying. Yahoo is too girly looking. Most people I know are on AIM, so I use that. I'm trying to find a version of GAIM that doesn't exit when you close it, that'd be nice.

I'm talking about GAIM on Linux, actually. But thanks though
I'm slowing migrating over. I figure, enough is enough. I need to stop being lazy about it ... and I need the f**king ISOs I download to work after I burn them

I use the new trillian becuase it is perfect for me. I dont need
all that extra crap and those horrible sounds that come with MSN and
AIM, I like the small compact windows the clutter free option of
running all my chat programs in one place. It dosn't automaticaly
set its self to start on boot. It is just a simple chat
program. The one thing I hate about AIM, MSN, Yahoo are all the
adds. I want to chat with my friend not play online pool or see
how the damn stock market is doing.

I'm generally a forum lurker and IRCer myself. I have ICQ but never ever use it, I only ever get emails that are spam or newletters, in short, noone likes me.

Truth is I hate forums. I dont like to read opinions of people
who act like ass hats. I also dont read through them very
fast, so by the time I post a replay 23,000,800 other people have
posted and gone so far off topic I should have just slaped my well
though out idea into babble fish and replyed in german.
I lose track of what threads are important and that I have posted a question, commen, or flame in. I hate flames in forums, people take everything anyone ever says in the most possible negative way.
People also generlize like they some how know everything (see above text for example).
I also cant spell and FF dosn't support a spell check thingy so I tend to look like a moron when I spell 'dose' wrong. Though spelling/typing is really why I dont work verywell on the internet. I'm also very sarcastic and emotions like that dont translate well into text....
/cry
