k this is weird: when i play on a cs server which has statsme when i type /rank it shows me my stats, rank, accuracy, etc.. i had 20 kills and 5 deaths and when i typed /rank it said i had 1 kill and 5 deaths! it also said my accuracy was 0.01% ... WTF? (plz don't say "it's coz you suck", i've heard that heaps and it just doesnt cut it)

anyway the relevant thing is: i've listed one map and rated about 10 people 5 out of 5 and i still only have 35 snarkmarks when everyone else has like 500! wtf. someone explain one or both. (preferably how the snarkmark system works and why it hates me)

I'm fairly sure you get points more for being rated high, rather than rating others high. That's at least what would make sense. List more complete maps also for more snarkmarks, that seems to be a way to go about things.

As for statsme, I doubt anyone has a clue. If you're like me you probably destroy your accuracy rating by swinging your knife wildly when leaving the spawn.

I think the snarkmarks go up the more posts you make aswell as being rated high

What if you answer a corect answer for "Half-Life / 2 /editing" forums? Dosent that raise snarkmarks also? If so, i love the idea

Statsme never seems to work right, listing shots where the distance was several times the size of the maps. [addsig]

You don't get any for rating other people, it depends on forum posts, comments you've made on other people's maps (hint hint make lots), profile hits, your average map/tutorial ratings and your user rating. Oh, and how many editing answers you've solved.

this is on netspeed, a canberra server. and everyone says i suck coz i have a gay ranking even tho i get good ratios. I think CCS is right, i swing teh knife around heaps when i leave spawn, which is probably it. but it's still screwed up, coz it only shows me my accuracy, kills, deaths, etc from that game, not from my total from when the stats resetted. for everyone else it shows how many kills etc they got since the stats resetted!!
