I'd rather not stitch them all together tbh. Maybe people can choose to stitch, but I'd rather only join mine to 1 or 2 others, or maybe not join it at all.

I'm not talking about taking a map you made and editing it onto another
map, you would start mapping a template (like a hollow box with holes
that will lead to other maps) and everyone would finish their area of
the whole map in one hour.
So in the end everyone will make one room each and all those rooms will be attached to make one big map.

And then you'll find out some rooms overlap... wich is likely to happen imho.
Though the template idea sounds good to me. A bit like the TheWall contest, where you had to remake an official HLDM map and give it a total different theme. So give each one the same template and see how they fill it in?
Or just stick to the time limit only and let everyone do his own thing. Some time planned already?

I'm doing a community map, and the truth is that it is going really
slow. I want to keep the time limit so this project will get done.
I'm going to shoot for next week.

not a web site, sorry, a web page. I just got some web space and
I want to put up a page with rules and stuff on it. Any one know
how to make download links usable only once? I'd really like to
have all the map "templates" ready for download then at the first
second of the hour open up the down load page and have it first come
first server.
only problem with that is a sass hat could come on and download all the maps really fast and screw everything up.

Is this thing still going to happen, maybe we can do it once a week, or
once a month. Would be fun and could see everyones progress as a
mapper. Maybe change the scenario everytime.
