Too many people these days blame anyone and anything for their problems these days. The solution is to realize/admit that it's your own choices and your own habits that made you f**ked up or had those effects. You chose to do it, blame yourself.

The tooth thing with coke is BS. Watch myth-busters, they compared it for and against all types of cleaners, de-rusters, solvents and also did stuff on what it can dissolve. None of it is actually true no matter how many other people said it was because they "heard" it. The only time I could see the tooth thing being true is if you're only taking the enamel into consideration as that's the only part I could see really being dissolved. I've tried a few of the methods before with coke, but really a little CLR would always do better.

Lol, and my BMI is 15.5! That makes me fit for a job as a wind-direction/speed estimator at the airport.

It was scary what happened to the piece of meat they left in the coke D: it looked fine until they tried to pick it up, and then it fell apart!

? quoting Myrk-
Metabolism my boy. Also other things that effect the problems are aspects such as the upbringing, and thyroid I believe. With an overactive thyroid gland you'll generally be more active and sleep less, which seems to be a trend with mappers...

My dad had that really bad, he ended up having a fit of some sort when I was a baby and fell down some stairs whilst holding me, ended up having half of the gland removed.

Actually, we REALLY DO use Coke to eat rust off of engine blocks. and my brother's tooth REALLY WAS dissolving, mum said it was gross, so we've no idea how far it would've went, she made us dump it. but truly coke is as caustic as Vash on a bad day... [addsig]

In addition to Coke's acidity, it also contains aspartame, aka "FLAVOR (951)", which stimulates the appetite, making you feel hungry when you're not really. [addsig]

if that's true, then i should feel starved most of the time. i go through a 2ltr bottle of full cream, full fat coke every day, sometimes more. i'm not underweight, but i could put on a stone and still not be overweight. i've actually tried to put on weight in the past, but after a few days of extra portions, i lose my appetite completely for a day or two. Yeah, fishy, you still have to start eating healthy. You're still young, so your metabolism is high. You can afford to take in the extra calories now.

Wait until you hit your late twenties or thirties. You'll put on weight at an amazing rate if you keep eating like this.

I sleep well and like a log, always have done. My upbringing has been pretty good too, no complaints.

EDIT: I also read up on thyroid glands, and according to the health website I have a normal thyroid gland. It's not over or under-active, which means we can turn this thread in to a "how the f*** does thursday stay skinny" thread. lol

With quite a few people you can eat loads when you are young but when you get to your 20's it won't be like that.

I know that, it's just I'd like to know why. Especially as no one seem's to be able to correctly convince me of any reason at all for it. Building up muscle hasn't affected my weight at all either.

Look at your source RaPtoR - its the Coca-Cola official website....

Also, the site says nothing about whether or not coke can eat rust off engine blocks or dissolve stuff, it just says that Coke will not dissolve your teeth/bones any more than your own stomache acid would, and that drinking coke is not like soaking stuff in coke. [addsig]

Then you must not work out hard enough. If you train with weights on a consistent basis, I guarantee you will gain weight steadily for at least the first three months.

I gained more than 20 lb (10 kg) in three months when I first started lifting weights. But I went every other day for the entire three months, and I've not stopped for the past fifteen years.
