There is no longer a VERC. Now, you get to go to the Collective to go to the VERC. It's nearly the same just with more content and a different layout and design. So why oh why would they decide http://collective.valve-erc.com is a better URL than http://www.valve-erc.com ? The extra to remember bit is really kinda unnecessary in my book. There's a link at the easier one, but it's not even an automatic link. As if people are going there, saying "Oh crap, it's the collective now, no use going here anymore." Absolutely pointless.

i have always wondered strange stuff like this, but never for very long.. i used to wonder why snakpit wasn't at snarkpit.com .. i stopped eventually, without sounding silly for having voiced my thoughts... now look at the URL

www.valve-erc.com explains why:

This Valve ERC will be redesigned at some point in the future to act as a hub site for the VERC network, making it easy to find what you need.

I personally find the Collective fairly easy to navigate and can find what I want. Probably because I've been registered since it's creation, but...
