I'm insterested, but I've got dail-up, so I can only really play from a gaming cafe, and even then the ping's not that good (100-200 ms). I can still usually get my name in the top half of the scores though. As for a name, how about Revenge of the Snarks?

? quoting Andrei
We don't even have a name for the clan yet.

any snarkpit clan would be some derivative of the website.

Finger, how is you ping then? If you are in, then we should almost be enough.
Fox: I think 100-200 ping is a little to high, but that is up to you ofcourse.
I think [SP] might work, or maybe [Snark], or i dunno. [addsig]

I'd offer you a server if anyone can find a rental company based in Central Europe/East Coast US/Canada that is offering HL2DM rentals, i'd be happy to finance or at least part finance (primarily as a testing/development server) a server for the Pit.
I am still hoping to but all the companies I have quizzed have stubbed the idea because of the resources that HL2DM tends to eat server side. [addsig]

That would be nice of you. Part in a special subpit for the (potential)
clan, and we'll be made.
How about [SS] from SnarkSpawn (not THAT
SS!). Oh, did you try looking on www.leetnet.com ? I hear they're some
of the best for hosting game servers and many good HLDM servers relied
on them.

For the old snarkpit clan I think we eventually decided on "snarkpit |
name", but its perhaps a little long for a clan prefix. I often play
CS:S and HL2DM under that name at the moment - its a really clear title
and it gets people asking about what it is. Good advertising
I know I sound like a broken record, but anybody who is interested in playing will need to check that...
a. They can get a playable ping on the servers when reasonably full (check earlier pages for server IP's).
b. They will be able to play matches at the time they are likely to be held (I believe it will be some evening midweek (6-10pm?)
If you can't do these but would still like to be a snarkpit player then by all means you can, but I think we need to know who can be active for this league.

Ok, time to try this again! We have a server now, and the league needs
us to register our interest if we are up for it. So please, if you
would like to play (note that there are no ties, just if you are
interested), get me your steam ID by typing "status" in the console. I
can then register us up and get things going. Chances are it will just
be a match a week, so its not like there are many responsibilities.
Don't worry about skill level or anything like that, its all just a bit
of fun

I think you are forgetting something - steam ID's please guys
If you
don't feel like posting it on the forums for some reason (even though I
believe anybody can find out a persons steam ID without problem) then
you can PM me it.
