I am going to get a dot com for myself, for the purpose of posting stuff i want people to see like screenshots and maps and essays. I also want it for to FTP my college assignments so I can get them from anywhere. I have 2 prospects for addresses and I want to be sure that i choose something that everyone will know how to spell and whatnot. When i chose "Nickelplate" as my Internet name, I figured EVERYONE would be able to spell "nickel" because it is such a basic word. but much to my chagrin, everyone on the planet spells it "nickle." Now you wouldnt think that people who cant spell nickel would even know the word "Plait" exists, but unfortunately they do and they type it way too much for comfort. Here are my two options i've picked out. If you've got something better, by all means, please let me know. I dont want anything with numbers in it because n00bs forget the numbers, and it's gotta be relatively easy to spell so idiots can get to it. I would REALLY like to have a .com and not something else since .com's are the most widely used.
[edit] I got DIMEBOWL.COM because everyone better know how to spell DIME and BOWL if they are stupid enough to NOT know how to spell BOWL, then they will surely not know that the word BOLE exists.
