In Windows XP, there is a menu on the left when you browse your files called "Other places", listing My Documents, Shared Documents, My Computer and Network Places. I've tried Googling for this, but does anyone know how to add new links to that list?

it's a CLSID registry entry i assume, I never even thought about adding to it.

here's alist of registry entries having to do with OTHER PLACES

HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsShellNoRoamMUICache (see the other places key)

HKEY_USERSS-1-5-21-1960408961-1757981266-1801674531-1003SoftwareMicrosoftWindowsShellNoRoamMUICache (ditto)

l i can find is how to change the icon. perhaps change it to a little leperous?

There was an add about it in a MaximumPC issue
