No a guy in St, paul ripped me off on ebay for $200 and i need someone to stakeout his house and tellme what kind of car he drives. just for my information you know. Anyone who's been here and knows me, knows that i operate on the PRINCIPLE of the whole thing. I plan on making a trip to St Paul, to see this gentlman. he is:
Joseph nelson, 13660 Grove Dr Osseo, MN 55311-4404, US
In november he bought a dual Xeon Motherboard and 2 processors from me, he used a stolen credit card and when they found out, they took $200 out of MY paypal account, AND he gets to keep the motherboard. So, He will pay at least $2000 in property damages after certain unnamed hooligans tear his s**t up. So if anyone would help me, I'll be much obliged.
It's not ME that is going to vandalize BTW.

I think that's near Napa Valley. The summers here are great! Nice and moderate. We have our hot days, too. Depends on where in So. Ca. though. I live in Murrieta so it can get pretty hot in the Summer and somewhat cold in the winter. You'll love it here except for the traffic.

Has this got something to do with the Onion perchance?

Why don't you try taking LEGAL action first?
There are clauses in the ebay agreement, I'm sure, that hold him legally responsible. [addsig]

Good point, Gwil. My advice, like Crono said, take LEGAL action. I've been screwed on Ebay a few times myself. Sorry it happened to a fellow pit member though.

Also didn't you check the user rating? I never do business with anyone new or lower than 3 stars (If thats the scale these days?).

I was actually just wondering if someone can look him up in the phonebook for St. Paul. Whitepages.com doesn't have the number listed. What i said earlier was me being stupid while i was still rather upset about it.
Anyway, I've calle dpaypal and they said that I am liable for this. Because i sold to an "unverified user" why the f**k do they HAVE unverified users!?!?! plus they said since i did not keep any sort of tracking numbers from NOVEMBER 2004 They cannot verify that i actually sent the package.
I called my Lawyer (my mom's boss) and talked today about it. we shall see what will happen.
OMEGASLAYER- the user rating was only a 1, but at the time MY user rating was only like a 10, I was pretty n00bish then ![]()
AND i never said that i was going to DO anything to the guy, just that i was going to talk to him.

When you sell on ebay for awhile you run into lots of scammers. Like you said if you have tracking information you can get some money back, otherwise they won't do anything. If you sell virtual items (WOW, ultima online etc) its even more of a problem because the seller has no protection no matter what. Out of 9 auctions I sold recently, 5 of them were won by stolen accounts. After the 1st scammer I was more cautious and refunded payments to the other buyers who had suspicious bidding patterns (one of them won a "blue party hat" in the free web mmorpg Runescape for $900) lol
Anyway theres a good chance the guy didn't use his real name. As for the address who knows.

well there's GOT to be SOMEHOW for him to physically get the package from the address i shipped it to. If i can only find out how...
+my brother is a private detective, and has connections in that area. Perhaps I would use that resource.
