Oh, and I'm off to the sixth level:
? quote:
Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis

You approach Satan's wretched city where you behold a wide plain surrounded by iron walls. Before you are fields full of distress and torment terrible. Burning tombs are littered about the landscape. Inside these flaming sepulchers suffer the heretics, failing to believe in God and the afterlife, who make themselves audible by doleful sighs. You will join the wicked that lie here, and will be offered no respite. The three infernal Furies stained with blood, with limbs of women and hair of serpents, dwell in this circle of Hell.

The Dante's Inferno Test has banished you to the Sixth Level of Hell - The City of Dis!

Here is how you matched up against all the levels:
Level | Score
Purgatory | Very Low
Level 1 - Limbo | Low
Level 2 | High
Level 3 | High
Level 4 | Very High
Level 5 | High
Level 6 - The City of Dis | Very High
Level 7 | High
Level 8- the Malebolge | High
Level 9 - Cocytus | High

It'd be nice if they made a test for whatever religion you consider your self or not any at all. Because that test focuses on Catholic and Christian beliefs. And the entire point of different religions is that no one knows who's right or wrong, or if there even is a right or wrong choice.
Not that this was made with actual seriousness in mind.

what I fail to grasp is, what the hell does my masterbational habits have to do with my going to hell? Is this a common affliction of the would be other-real destination?

If thats the case, I think my level should be quite a bit lower down if frequency is a determining factor.

Because the test is given from a Catholic/Christian standpoint. And "Carnal Knowledge, Impure Thoughts" and the such are full fledged sins = hell.

Technically, christianity says you sin by being alive, at least that's how chirstians have explained it to me (use "chirstians" loosely, since there are many denominations, just like catholic).

Does that make sense? I'm not saying that's what I personally believe, but that's a pretty widely accepted belief. [addsig]

excuse me if i err, but doesn't it take at least a working knowledge of carnal in order to procreate? that in effect makes everyone sinners whom desires to have children.

just another reason why i detest religion as a whole. :/

6th level of hell for me, and I'd say I'm a mixture of Jerk and Xenophobe. [addsig]

It's not religions fault, I think that's an unfair comment. If anything it's a mind set several individuals had at the time these documents were written, thus favorable terms to them are in there. That's why as far as I can tell, it's a good idea to have relegion as a guide line rather then a way of life. Because, frankly, you'll be miserable and alone, in the non-physical sense, if you did live "strictly by the book".
But that's me. I really don't think anyone has the right (unless it's their children, obviously) to impose a belief system that is completly based on personal faith. However, that also means you don't have the right to deny it. You know? [addsig]

Well, maybe a combination of the two. The first time I read Eagle Scout I thought it fit, but then it seemed like maybe there was a bit of this as well. [addsig]

So I guess I'm the only one going to purgatory eh?

Purgatory

You have escaped damnation and made it to Purgatory, a place where the dew of repentance washes off the stain of sin and girds the spirit with humility. Through contrition, confession, and satisfaction by works of righteousness, you must make your way up the mountain. As the sins are cleansed from your soul, you will be illuminated by the Sun of Divine Grace, and you will join other souls, smiling and happy, upon the summit of this mountain. Before long you will know the joys of Paradise as you ascend to the ethereal realm of Heaven.

Purgatory | Very High
Level 1 - Limbo | Moderate
Level 2 | Moderate
Level 3 | Low
Level 4 | Moderate
Level 5 | Low
Level 6 - The City of Dis | Very Low
Level 7 | Moderate
Level 8- the Malebolge | Low
Level 9 - Cocytus | Very Low

First Level of Hell - Limbo

Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief's abysmal valley. You are in Limbo, a place of sorrow without torment. You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. These are the virtuous pagans, the great philosophers and authors, unbaptised children, and others unfit to enter the kingdom of heaven. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad.

This is downright embarrassing, but I swear I answered every question truthfully.
