Speaking of which, I once saw a replica of Vash's trenchcoat on eBay. While it looked pretty cool, I'm not sure I would shell out 400 clams to look like this:

Rule no.1 Use sculpting wax for hair ;D

That trenchcoat looks kinda.. plastic . The glasses are kinda cool.

Dressing up in a kids size Spiderman or Naruto outfit beats everything.

Everyone has those and they're hideous. I hate Trigun. It was better before everyone saw it and started dressing like an animated character. Not to mention the anime screwed up the dark manga story. [addsig]

Cosplayers make me feel shamed. I don't know what it is, but I find it really hurting. I like Japan, I've been there. I like the occasional anime, and play many Japanese games. There have been a few really cool looking costumes before, but for the most part it's like a bad halloween that doesn't stop. Hopefully this fad slows down, as well as a new genre of music reigns instead of hip-hop before I stab my eyes and ears out with forks.

And to think they normally cost almost $200. (They're actually metal, I believe)

But it gets worse, there's an entire line of sunglasses from everyone who wears them in the show. And, in general Anime isn't a cartoon because it's most often violent, realistically, not looney toons. That and it's Japanese. [addsig]
