those pics are my cameras lowest resolution. at 1.5 MP

my camera goes up to 5 MP

they do look sweet though, but do not do justice to actually being there.

Me and a friend wanted to make a mpa for the Valve contest based on the Hoover Dam. But we didnt get very far...

You know Orph I'd actually rounded up a number of pics of the the Hoover dam from online with the intention of recreating it, or at least using it as inspiration for my competition map. Obviously though the size and time contraints restricted me from doing so.

By the way, I couldn't access the images either.

You really are the screenshot whore lol first resolutions have to be a certain size or lest, know JPEG file sizes. Next thing you know BSPs will have to comply to Orph's rule of 1024kb and less lol

You know what that pic reminds me of? The dam in "surface tension" (c2a5.bsp to be more exact ). Anyways, the lighting looks...erm...radless, and that rockwall could have been better. The dam itself is nice though .

So, when did you go to Hoover Dam? And it is true, those pictures don't do it justice. I've been there, and it is huge.
