Sure the guy who has #1 over all will be the one who plays the most and dies the least, so you and I wont really do any better than top 20.
but it will be fun to see who gets the most stun stick or crow bar kills.

a bit over optimistic /methinks. if i made top 100 I'd be dancing in the streets.
my point though, look at this you see who is in the top slot? that guy was fantastic. i am not stealing anyones thunder, there were many good players, but this fella not only overcame his ping disadvantage, but consistently remained at the top in each rotation.
another thing most people overlook is this.. if you have a server of 16 people, 10 of which are around 50 ping and 6 above 100 you have 10 players all dealing with peers and only dealing with 6 over 100. but everyone over 100 has to deal with 15 others whom are peers or much better at ping times.
now i dunno if pings are cumulative, but if i am playing at 180, and shoot at someone with a 180, do we have a delay of 360? if this is true, then all the guys playing at 50 have a clear advantage. and a stat chart will never show it. :/

Could you have "average ping" listed? Why not have stats on people's
profiles on the SnarkPit, but no ordered list. Having said that, it
would probably be near impossible to implement.

well, i admit i am a bit out of date. does anyone have a clear idea what a stat chart displays. perhaps we are discussing something no one wants once they find out exactly what it says.
i would be in favor of a system that clearly defines who is good, and not just lucky to have a great connection.
i certainly do not want to see 25 people with 50 pings every day flaunted.

that would only work if you insisted people produced the best quality maps possible.
still, i dunno if FPS effect play/kills .. unless its obscenely low like below 15. in which case, you shouldn't be playing at all, at least not doing so and expecting much :/
before you get offended, i postponed playing till i had a machine capable, so i do believe what i typed, because i practiced what i preached.

I'm gonna have to start taking some screenies, and parade myself as a champion for the latency-challenged.
