If anyone else here had been doing a project or similar recently, post it up- it'd be good to get some more philosophy going here!
just last week i had to hand in a 40page long work, it was about nuclear rocket propulsion (back on the front page due to NASA's recent Prometheus project). It's written in dutch so a link wouldnt be much use, but a work that gave me a lot of info can be found here: http://www.dunnspace.com/00339489.pdf
Your work is in a slightly more theoretic domain than mine (civil engineering, mechanics) so mainly the application on heat conduction and SN (over here they're called NS
) could interest me. Oh, and the use of the "we"-form and exclamation marks are a big no-no (p39)
At least i havent come across them in other papers and they dont like them at our univ either.
I'm in my last year so im doing a thesis too, its about using Laser Doppler and Hot Wire Anemometry to measure velocity and pressure in front of catalysts in cars.
I'm hoping to get involved in working for iter in the future, at least i wanna be there when they reach the first burning plasma.
