OMG
they forgot the most important version.
Warmth = energy.. right. Scientists say that energy is evening out itself. getting "colder and colder" .. so the universes energy will get so low quality that no life can exist because of the lack of heat
uhm.. i havent slept so my english is butchered.. .. hope u get it anyway.. gah

They also have the Big Bang theory which is only because everything in space "appears" to be getting farther away from what could be a center ...
Scientists, in general, say a lot of things. I bet there's a higher probability we'd be destroyed by our sun turning into a red dwarf then the universe running out of "energy".
And by the way, mass is energy as well ... along with force ... and light ... and radiation (which is basically emitted by everything) [addsig]

Research has a long way to go with regards to 'zero point energy' so I think it's a bit silly to worry about it all "pouring out" and blowing us up if we try to tap into it. And I don't see what the worry about creating black holes in a particle accelerator is- black holes do not suck.
Er, and the big-rip, which they've got down as being ~20 billion years in the future could happen any time now
Cool site though!

I'm more worried about a nuclear holocaust than the universe running out of energy...
