i do however like some of the erroneous beliefs posted, such as "women get the better end of sex". i would venture a guess that most females would disagree 100%, and those whom didn't disagree, would say that it didn't get to be so great till after a certain age in their lives. most younger males are not attentive enough to create "great sex" for their partners.
anywho's.. i would like to thank doc for stealing my thunder away on such an interesting topic. if i had to lose, i couldn't have chosen a better way.

this topic needs saved in the snarkpit annals of historical threads.
Sex needs to be de-mystified in the States, and it should stop being treated as a tabooed topic. Knowledge is power, and knowledge allows people to make an educated decision when it comes to sex.
If those parents knew what was going on in the first place, then they wouldn't have gotten so freaked out with their son masturbating.
And if we make sex education so inaccessible, young people would be even more tempted to do it. It's like the forbidden apple. No one wanted to try it until it was deemed off-limit.
