...but I'm working full-time, and contributing to the forum at the same time.
Working doesn't preclude someone from talking in the forum.

yeah, he did :P
on a serious note, gollum is one of those rare people whom cannot visit without giving 100% of his time in dedication to the site. yeah thats a bad thing alright
.. but seriously, he felt that it was taking up way to much of his personal time. time he really needed to dedicate to his real life. thats something i can sympathize with and understand.
gollum will be back, when he is able.
right now, i bet he is missing us more than we are missing him. i don't mean that in a bad way, i mean its harder to be away from here than many think. consider how you feel when the pit is down. you have no choice in the matter then. it is worse when you self impose your away time...

Sounds like a nice guy too bad he left but you will see him in essence everywhere.
E.g. in his maps, he leaves his marks as do all of us.

So are some others, but I think certain people can 'grow' out of this website because of their job if they get one and it changes their life style/routine/etc... Who knows without asking him, I'll get the fish heads/log trap set up.

I had a long talk with mike before he decide to not come back as often. suffice it to say that he felt he was dedicating to much time and severely disrupting his normal life.
this is a personal decision each of us must make i suppose, but i can understand his thinking. when i am home, i want to socialize far to often in here, when i have other things that need attended to. but my situation is unique.. i am gone for vast amounts of time with my job and do not want to work when i get home.. i cannot honestly say its lazy of me, nor is it procrastination either.. i am genuinely tired and need the rest, but i do not do the things after i have rested either sometimes ![]()
anyways. mike will be around. give him a chance to do so. besides he may be on one of his spelunking adventures and quite unable to post. ![]()

just as noticeable, perhaps in a different way, but missed none the less.
Crono has been absent of late, as is Wildcard.. Tracers been absent, and so has Jinx.. Scary_Jeff, and Cash_Car_Star too..
/Me even misses Dietz ![]()
a major portion of our base community is missing. :/
breaking in so many new members is not my idea of fun either. they arrive and act like they been here all along.

Really? how can that be possible?
*contemplates*
I can see it, but cannot at the same time. I suppose I am just not dishonest enough to imagine anyone sending enough emails to support this action.
consider, spamming means a lot of emails, you could have sent no more than the roster membership you have. considering that not all of those were missing, how could you have sent "to many" to be considered spam?
/me now feels badly that I did not do this myself. i considered it, but procrastinated.
sorry bud.
