Heh, you'd be surprised. Any doctor who had ever trained for a
surgical or gyn-onc rotation would tell you that sometimes it's not
just verbal abuse, but physical abuse as well.
Fortunately, it's not prevalent, but abuse of junior trainees by senior
ones are not unheard of during residency. I've had plenty of true
but sad stories to share. I survived relatively unscathed,
perhaps due to my bodybuilding physique.
